In summer 2017 we made holiday in Burgundy, France, my husband was seriously ill. We made smaller tours around Vigne by car and visited Brancion, a beautiful, pittoresque place with a church on a hill.

Before the church was a bench, on the bench an older couple, silently talking english. We started conversation and coudn´t stop for a long time because we had to tell this and that and add some more and shared ideas. We had to leave then and Nick gave me his contact as I asked him.Holiday was over when we started an email dialogue about god and the world, I read some books of him and could ask him everything. Every answer I got was was a wise, differentiated, interesting, widening one. I loved our " little talks" as we called them, will miss them badly. Although I´m no philosopher, just a dilettantic painter he took our talks seriously and with humor too.

So, Nick, old loved friend and mind teacher of mine, thank you. Thank you, you enrichend my life and I´ll miss you much.
